Our Cub Scout Pack 589, originally chartered at Patrick Elementary School in 2008, provides our children with a fundamental learning environment dedicated to developing future leaders. Annual activities include our Rocket Derby, Pinewood Derby, Fall and Spring Camping trips, Annual Big Trip, and our monthly Den and Pack Meetings. Boys and girls can begin Cub Scouting as early at Kindergarten with the introduction of the Lions level. Scouts progress to Tigers in 1st Grade and earn rank achievements progressively until they complete the Arrow of Light requirements and crossover to Boy Scouts during a touching ceremony at the end of 5th Grade. Boys and girls can begin their scouting journey at any age/grade and will be matched to the appropriate level for their peer group. Start your child’s Cub Scout Journey today by becoming a Lion Cub, Tiger Cub, Wolf Cub, Bear Cub, Webelos or Arrow of Light scout.
