Whether you are a new or returning Scout, Pack 589 must collect dues to help pay for all the wonderful activities we do throughout the scouting season. The dues we collect also cover our fees to BSA for our registration as a Pack and our insurance. Keep in mind this fee is only once a year for an entire year of family activities.

For new scouts, you either paid your BSA fee at the school or can pay at the Scout Shop in Lawrenceville. If you are a new scout, ensure you have signed up Here and at the BSA.

The costs for the 2023-2024 season are as follows:

  • Pack Dues (All amounts are cash or check, slight fees apply for credit card/paypal payments):
    • Returning Scout Pay on Time ( Aug 31st – Sep 19th ): $215
    • New Scout Pay on Time (August 31-September 19th): $140 (You also would owe BSA Approximately $96)
    • Pay Late ( After Sep 19th ): $220
    • New Scout Pay Late (After September 19th): $150

  • Pack dues pay for all of the following:
    • Rocket Derby Kit
    • Pinewood Derby car Kit
    • Dinner and drinks at Pack meetings
    • Blue and Gold Banquet Dinner
    • Pack Re-charter Fees
    • Scout Awards (Belt loops, Adventure Pins, Rank Patches)
    • Pack T-Shirt (Considered Class-B Uniform)

How to Pay Pack Dues:  If paying by check please make the check out to Pack 589 and bring to a Den Leader or Pack Meeting or contact cubmaster@pack589.net for where to drop it off.  If paying by Paypal you must include the processing fee they charge us of 3.49% + .49.  It is already calculated in the dropdowns. Please select the proper time period for payment to refresh early-bird discount, on-time, and late. If you feel you have made a mistake, please e-mail cubmaster@pack589.net so we can process any refunds if needed.
