We’re heading to Vogel State Park for our spring campout! This is one of Georgia’s most iconic parks, surrounded by the beauty of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Expect crisp mountain air, sparkling lakes, and trails that are perfect for Cub Scouts of all ages.

This is our spring campout, where Scouts will:

  • Receive final awards of the year
  • Be promoted to the next rank
  • Watch our 5th graders “Cross Over” into Scouts
    It’s one of the most memorable events of the year—don’t miss it!

Even if you can’t stay the full weekend, come out Saturday night to celebrate and enjoy the festivities (and dinner is on us 🍽️).

🏕️ Camping Details

  • When: May 15–17, 2026
  • Where: Vogel State Park (Blairsville, GA)
  • Sites: Reserved as a Pack so we’re all together. Book through us to secure your spot.
  • Cost per site:
  • Deadline for payment: April 15, 2026
  • Each site allows up to 2 tents and 6 campers. Sites are assigned in the order reservations are received—so don’t wait!

🍽️ Meals

  • Friday: Bring your own dinner to enjoy at camp
  • Saturday: Breakfast & lunch on your own, but Saturday night dinner is included with your campsite reservation (Pack-provided meal)
  • Sunday: Bring your own breakfast before packing up

📋 What to Bring

  • Sleeping bag, pad/air mattress, pillow
  • Tent (up to two 6-man tents per site)
  • Tarps / Rain gear
  • Toiletries (bath houses on site)
  • Food for Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch, and Sunday breakfast
  • Cooler with drinks & ice
  • Cookware/camp stove/fuel (each site has water & electricity)
  • Fishing gear 🎣, bikes with helmets 🚲, and camp games (bean bag toss, frisbee, etc.)
  • Flashlights/headlamps 🔦
